"Viewing for Information" @ the LRC

Welcome to "Viewing for Information"! Periodically I will be gathering together some great resources for you to be able to expand your knowledge. Growing your brain power will never be easier with these recommended watches.

Documentaries can be a powerful tool for connecting with topics such as mental health. They allow you to delve deep into the reality of living with a mental illness, the effects on family members, or the struggles found in our medical system. They can also share the positive aspects of the mental health journey as people embrace their spirituality or find themselves drawn to mindfulness to help combat their mental health struggles.

All of these documentaries come from the Kanopy database, which is filled with great videos and movies that can help you connect with any topic. To use Kanopy, click on the link and login with your student or staff ID #. Your PIN is the last four digits of your student or staff ID#.

May you find just the right video for you! Until next time, Amanda @ the LRC
