44th Annual South Porcupine Winter Carnival

It is that time of year again! Do I mean winter? Well yes. But more importantly, it is time for the 44th Annual South Porcupine Winter Carnival! For those of you new to the College, this is the Carnival of the year.

The Carnival runs from February 7-9th and will be jammed packed with fun free events in the South Porcupine area to “Celebrate the Magic of Winter.”  You can participate in scavenger hunts, Outdoor Champion contests, browse vendor show and sales, watch wood carving with a chainsaw, and more.

Fun things happening on the Timmins Campus:

• Sunday the 9^th (6 – 7:30 pm): The College’s maintenance staff is hosting a Bon Fire by the west parking lot of the walking trail. NCSA is providing Hot Chocolate to help you stay nice and warm.
• Sunday the 9^th (7 pm): A fireworks display will happen over Porcupine Lake over by the burn building.
